The new divorcee took a stab at blind dating when she stopped by the Kyle & Jackie O Show — and it was an utter disaster. Out of eight guys, only one was interested in getting to know the “Sparks” singer. Ouch!
Hilary was a good sport and agreed to entertain radio personalities Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O for a candid game of “Too Much Information,” which ended up being a version of blind speed dating.
Now that her marriage to Mike Comrie, 34, is so yesterday — why not?!
While playing, Hilary wasn’t allowed to divulge her identity as eight different male suitors fielded the former Tinder user’s calls, deciding when to cut the convo as she revealed bits of personal info that totally turned them off. Surprisingly, Hil didn’t stay on the phone with anyone for very long!
So what made the men run for cover? Well, two of her potential dates hung up the phone after she let them know she was a “single mother.” Two others fell off the wagon after Hilary mentioned herself that she was uninterested in anyone who was “straight unemployed.”
However, one gentleman, by the name of Tony, was fine with it (along with Hilary’s other quirks!) — and actually stayed on the phone with her!
Then it was time for the big reveal! Show host, Kyle, told an astonished Tony: “She’s an international superstar! Hilary Duff, the singer and actress. Do you know Hilary Duff, Tony?”
After copping to his “100%” familiarity with the Lizzie McGuire star, the excited Aussie was let down when Kyle insinuated the Duffster would never call him. #SoSad! “Never say never. I went on Tinder,” Hilary corrected him. Fingers crossed for ya, Tony!
