The Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has returned the sum of N980 million stolen funds

The commission also promised to recover and return the remaining looted funds as it pledged that all suspects and accomplices in the fraudulent act will be duly punished.
Chairman of ICPC, Mr. Ekpo Nta while returning the fund to the ministry and affected institutions, explained that the commission is investigating the movement of another N468.8 million traced to one Adeolu Olugbenga Adeyanju, who is currently facing charges before the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court for forgery, theft, conspiracy and being in possession of forged documents.
