President Goodluck Jonathan has formally submitted his handover notes to President elect, Muhammadu Buhari.
The presentation was done on Thursday inside the Council Chamber, shortly after Jonathan conducted Buhari round the seat of power at the council chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Jonathan also presented a copy of the report of the National Conference which held in 2014, to Buhari.
The presentation was made after Jonathan took Buhari and his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo round the Aso Rock presidential villa.
Jonathan said his administration had done its best for the country.
In his remarks, Buhari said he would not make a bold statement until after studying the handover notes. He however commended Jonathan for conceding defeat in the March 28 Presidential election stating that Jonathan could have made things difficult if he wanted to do so.
Buhari will be officially inaugurated tomorrow, Friday, as Nigeria’s new president. He won the March 28 election.
