In 1978 when Obasanjo was head of state he
move it to 15.5kobo



In 1982 Shagari moved it to 20kobo

In 1989 Babangida moved it to 39.5kobo

In 1988 it was changed to 42kobo from 42kobo later
change to 60kobo in September 1988 it was changed to
70kobo from 70kobo.

Shonekan moved it to #5,
from

#5 Abasha changed it back to #3.22kobo later changed
it again to #11 from #11 to #25 also changed to #23
back.

Obasanjo moved it to #70.

Yar adua change it
back to #65 in 2012

Goodluck moved it to #140 later changed it to #97
In 2015 when general election was
approaching he changed it to #87 after the elections fuel was sold
in some state of the country for #400,#300,#170,#150
per liter.
