A young man escaped being kidnapped by the whiskers in Ijebu, Ogun state today.
An eyewitness, ABidex narrated the story thus "It was a terrible experience this morning at my farm located at Odoyanta, Ijebu Ode. I had just finished feeding the fish, when I heard a loud noise . The noise was coming from the father of the boy working for me.
Some ritualists were trying to kidnap a fish farmer. They had succeeded in beating and chaining him like a dog but someone in the bush saw them and quickly ran back to town to alert guys in the community.
They were able to arrest two out of the three ritualists but the last one escape.
The woman who is Iyalode in the town was behind the operation."
After been caught, the ritualists were beaten black and blue by the community members, after which they were arrested and taken away by the police.
